Krystyna Jaramillo Gonzalez

Krystyna Jaramillo Gonzalez is currently a Licenced Master Social Worker who is bilingual in English and Spanish. Krystyna graduated with her Masters of Social Work from New Mexico State University. Krystyna has worked in both the outpatient and inpatient settings ranging from children to older adults throughout her career. Krystyna has working experience with the severe mental illness affected population such as working with individuals with schizophrenia, schizoaffective, severe major depression, anxiety, and substance use. Krysytna also has experience working with adolescents and children who are working through mood dysregulation disorders. Krysytna has received her basic training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy to help clients process symptoms or emotionally difficult emotions that have resulted from a disturbing life experience and must be fully digested versus coped with. Krysytna is also trained in Level I and Level II Motivational Interviewing to help guide clients to utilize their own motivation and to commit to a change to improve quality of life. Krystyna has a heart to help out any person in need as long as they allow for that help.

When Krystyna is not working, she loves spending time with her loved ones and practicing her own self-care. You can easily find her out in nature hiking throughout New Mexico. Krystyna loves a good hike, backpacking, or camping and all while taking pictures of nature while on her spontaneous adventures. Lastly, Krystyna recently picked up astrophotography and really enjoys taking pictures of the amazing night sky.
